As we begin the New Year, I want to taketime to encourage the Body of Christ. No matter what trials and distress you may have faced in the past year, the plan and purpose of God for your life has not changed. Great faith is produced in our lives during our most stressful times. We must keep our focus and keep pressing toward God’s divine purpose for our lives. Know and remember that our God is greater than our tribulations and past failures. In the book of Philippians 3: 12-15 The Apostle Paul said these powerful words “I'm not saying that I have this all together, that I have it made. But I am well on my way, reaching out for Christ, who has so wondrously reached out for me. Friends, don't get me wrong: By no means do I count myself an expert in all of this, but I've got my eye on the goal, where God is beckoning us onward — to Jesus. I'm off and running, and I'm not turning back. So let's keep focused on that goal, those of us who want everything God has for us.”(THE MESSAGE: ) Therefore, let us enter into this New Year refusing to look back and pressing forward with great joy and confidence in fulfilling the great plan that God has placed ahead for us.
